A: The size of marquee needed depends on sitting styles ie Round tables 10 to 12 sq ft per person, Long tables 8ft per person, for buffet styles standing and sitting 6 sq ft per person. We can explain the different options available once we know how many guests you have and the style of seating you choose.
Q: Do you supply just the marquee?
A: We can supply just the marquee if you want but we also supply a wide range of accessories eg tables, chairs, cloths, cutlery etc We can also put you in contact with caterers, florists, bar suppliers etc
Q: Can I decorate the marquee myself?
A: Yes, you can decorate to whatever theme suits you. We can also put you in touch with interior designers if needed.
Q: Do you hire toilets?
A: Toilets can all so be rented from the basic portaloo to the more higher-end corporate toilets which include carpet, bronze taps, hand dryers, piped music - all self contained .
Q: How many guests can I seat around a table?
A: We have 5 options to choose from. Our 5 ft round tables sit 8 people, our 6 ft round tables sit 10 people (these are usually used for weddings and corporate parties), our 6 ft long tables sit 8 people and our 8ft long tables sit 10 people.
Q: Can you suggest venues?
A: Absolutely, if you let us know what area you are interested in we can recommend venues in that area.
Q: How long is your marquee hire period?
A: The marquee is usually finished two days before wedding or event to allow setting up and will come down day after but can be left longer if needed.
Q: Can tents be opened up in warm weather?
A: Yes, all sides can be taken off in good weather and easily put back on in the evening if you wish.
Q: Do we need heaters and are they warm enough?
A: Yes we recommend heating - this sits outside and is controlled by a room stat to keep marquee at a even temp. In the evening it can get cooler and this heating system keeps it as warm as a house!
Q: Are marquees suitable in winter?
A: Our marquees can be used all year round and with the right heating you won’t experience any problem.
Q: How soon should I book a marquee before my wedding?
A: As soon as possible, especially for weddings! We often have special deals for early bookings so make sure to ask when booking.
Q: What colour are your marquees?
A: The outside of the marquees are white, but the interiors can be finished in whatever colours you want – it’s up to you!
Q: How safe are your marquees?
A: All our marquees are fully insured and are built to BS standards.
Q: Does the ground need to be level?
A: No the ground does not need to be level, though there can be extra work involved depending on site – we may need to do a site consultation.
Q: Do you do site consulations?
A: Yes, for larger marquees it is better to do a site visit to make sure every thing is ok beforehand.
Q: Can the marquee be connected to a building?
A: Yes, the marquee can be connected to a building by either go straight on to the building or by a tunnel.
Q: Do I have to paid a deposit?
A: Yes, we require a 20% deposit to hold the marquee.
